Confused
The sun shone bright that day.
Oh yes, it was dark, I'd say.
The heat made things to hot to hold.
Yes, I too was very cold.

Some things I can't explain,
like why you went away.

Deafening noises filled the street.
And the silence was a rare treat.
I remember people running everywhere.
It was strange there was so one there.

Many things I don't know,
like why you had to go.

You know, I saw you standing there.
And I couldn't find you anywhere.
People told me where you were.
No one said a single word.

I'm so confused about what to do.
How do I live without you?
