Moonlit nights and starless skies.
The wind whispering through the trees.
The hoots, the howls, the caws -- Night Cries.
Carried aloft by clouds of dreams.
The babbling brooks and fleeting shadows.
An endless cobblestone path.
The growls, the groans, the crashes -- Night Battles.
Twilight's struggle against dawn's wrath.
The falling leaves and fluttering wings,
The crisp, chilling air.
The chirps, the chitters, the whistles -- Night Sings.
A melody without compare.
The crack of dawn and the sun's first rays.
The awakening of the glen.
The silence, the stillness, the calm -- Night Waits.
For the new day's end.
