The Tree
Looking through the windows of your mind,
I see the tree I planted so long ago.
Starting with a lifeless seed
I aimlessly dug--not knowing where it should go.
But then, one day it took root and started to grow.
Its branches spread everywhere with each event of our lives.
At first a helpless twig, but now growing stronger,
having the seasoned maturity of time.
