Water and Land |
Water rushed toward Land,
dappling the shoreline with its treasures.
Every wave is a kiss or caress.
The cyclic tide a symbol of its endless devotion.
Water loves Land.
But Land disdains Water,
dumping its filth into the Sea,
darkening the azure with every ebb and flow,
tainting what once was pure.
Land uses Water.
But still Water rushes toward Land. |
